Veteran Prosecutor Seeks Office Forsyth Solicitor General Post

Susan Zereini has 13 years of prosecutorial experience and currently runs her own law practice and also works with the firm of Burns & Speights PC.

Susan Zereini, a veteran prosecutor with 13 years' experience, announced yesterday that she will seek election for Forsyth County Solicitor General.

During a distinguished legal career Zereini has worked in the Kings County District Attorney's Office in Brooklyn, New York; the Cherokee County Solicitor's Office; and the Pickens County District Attorney's Office in Georgia. During that time she has prosecuted thousands of misdemeanor and felony cases.

"When the citizens review my record, they will find that I am, by far, the most experienced candidate in this race," Zereini said in a press release. "I will be steadfast in upholding the law and making the citizens' best interest my top priority and I would be honored to represent the citizens of Forsyth County."

Zereini is a graduate of St. John's University and New England School of Law. She was admitted to the practice of law in New York in 2001 and the State of Georgia in 2006. She currently runs her own law practice, The Law Office of Susan M. Zereini LLC, and also works with the firm of Burns & Speights PC. 

She and her husband, a local business owner, have two children who attend Kelly Mill Elementary. She is a member of the PTA and enjoys volunteering at the school. She is also active in local sports, as well as religious and civic organizations.

Zereini is a member of St. Brendan The Navigator Roman Catholic Church.
