Metropolitan Ballet Theatre Free Community Performance of Coppelia

Metropolitan Ballet Theatre
Presents the 5th Annual Community Performance

Performances Sat Oct 13th at 2:00 and 7:00 and Sun Oct 14th at 2:00

This enchanting love story of a dancing doll is memorable for music as well as dancing. Coppélia is ballet’s great comedy… telling the story of lovely Swanhilda, a girl who pretends to be a doll in order to regain the affection of Frantz, her sweetheart. Set to music by Leo Delibes, your entire family will be captivated by the betrothed Swanhilda and Frantz, mysterious toy-maker named Dr. Coppélius, life-size dancing dolls and the “happily forever wedding celebration.”
