Eye-Opening Documentary on Plastic Pollution

Sending an SOS to the World!  Please attend this educational and eye-opening event sponsored by 11-year old Hannah Testa on Sunday May 4.  Hannah is screening the documentary Plastic Paradise at 2:15 pm at the Forsyth County Post Rd library in Cumming.  Plastic pollution is one of the fastest growing crises in the the world today.  Plastic is like diamonds, it is here on our planet forever.  A lot of our plastic ends up in the ocean and kills marine life, or ends up in our food chain.  This documentary is gaining significant attention throughout the world, including praise from dignitaries such as Al Gore.

Hannah will bring awareness about this global issue and the impact it has on our environment and will present practical ways we can make simple changes.  Hannah will have the producer, Angela Sun, remote in via Skype to answer audience questions.  Other environmental supporters, such as Keep Forysth County Beautiful, will also support this event. Seating is limited and although it is free, you must register in advance at the library's website: http://www.nextreads.com/display2.aspx?SID=916f27b1-83e6-42df-8111-a00d911331a5&N=738847
