Cumming Store Sells Winning $1 Million Lottery Ticket

A Forsyth County man bought the instant game ticket.

A Cumming food mart sold a winning Georgia Lottery ticket worth $1 million, according to a press release. 

Duck Town Food Mart at 4636 Canton Highway in Cumming sold a top prize winning ticket from the Georgia Lottery’s 20th Anniversary Extravaganza instant game.

The lucky winner who claimed the $1 million prize is Robert Cash of Cumming.

Since its first year, the Georgia Lottery Corp. has returned more than $14.8 billion to the state of Georgia for education. All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
