Packing for the Journey

The start date of our exciting adventure in better health is near. It's time to start packing. Grab your back pack to start filling it with the most important items for the journey.

The knapsack has been dusted off and aired out. It's time to start packing for the adventure.  We need these very important items to travel safely and successfully.

TRAIL GUIDE: CHECK! I am your trail guide that walks with health adventure seekers down the sometimes rough and rugged trail of learning new information and learning to apply it. I know that having someone who understands and knows the peaks and valleys along the trail, the hazards and the focal points of beauty and awe can increase your likelihood of reaching the mountain top of great health!

COMPASS: CHECK! To keep us heading in the right direction. Dr. Wayne Scott Anderson is my compass. He practiced as a critical care specialist for more than 20 years and saw that the world of medicine was only trying to catch people as they were falling over the cliff of illness and disease. He saw a need to guide them away from the danger and lead them on a path of prevention. He has been doing just that for more than a decade.

MAP: CHECK! We know where we want to go, but our map shows us how to get there. My map is Dr. A's Habits of Health, a new book that you can order from one of your favorite on-line book sites. This is not the "latest" diet idea, but a step by step guide on how to change your understanding of health and adopt new habits that create health. It's a lifestyle manual that takes you through the phase of being overweight and unhealthy to learning how to maintain your healthy weight then on to optimal and even ultra-health to be your best at any age.
