Everybody really needs to show up for this meeting, so that you can see for yourselves how Brian Tam and Patrick Bell continue to do the bidding of Mayor Ford Gravitt contrary to the interests of the citizens of the county.

Since the county will be able to treat all of its own water within the next two or three weeks, any proposal, which REQUIRES the county to purchase a minimum amount of, treated water is SOLELY for the benefit of the mayor and contrary to the interests of the citizens of the county.

Any proposal that RAISES the current raw water rate above $0.10 per thousand gallons is SOLELY for the benefit of the mayor and contrary to the interests of the citizens of the county.

Any proposal, which includes payment of the $11.4M invoice, which the county attorney has told the Board of Commissioners is not owed, is SOLELY for the benefit of the mayor and contrary to the interests of the citizens of the county.

A failure on the part of the Board of Commissioners to prevent the mayor from turning off the county's raw water supply could easily mean that the citizens of this county could see an increase in their water bills of up to 400 percent beginning in October!
