WHY YOU SHOULD THANK THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROFESSIONAL IN YOUR LIFE (PART II)

Last week, in anticipation of Administrative Professionals’ Week—which begins on April 21st—we took a moment to recognize the roll that receptionists, executive assistants, and administrators play in the day-to-day functioning of most companies; however, it’s important to note that administrative professionals do much more than simply plan lunches and manage schedules.  To the contrary, they often serve as the heartbeat of entire companies.

Therefore, as we find ourselves moving into April, remembering why administrative professionals deserve our gratitude should be something we meet with excitement and enthusiasm.

1.) IT’S A PARTNERSHIP—Bosses need their assistants.  It’s a fact.  On days when everything gets unbelievably hectic and deadlines begin to loom, administrative professionals play a huge role in making sure that all of the work gets done.

2.) THOSE SUPPLIES DON’T RESTOCK THEMSELVES—Perhaps you’ve never noticed the fact that your pens remain stocked and there’s always ink in the printer; however, in most offices, ordering is the job of those working in an administrative role.  So, while you may take some of these details for granted, set aside some time to show a little appreciation for the people who consistently make sure you have everything you need.

3.) ERRANDS, ERRANDS, ERRANDS—Perhaps you forgot about your dry cleaning or the fact that your new client needs to be picked up from the airport.  Either way, those seemingly innocuous tasks are often handled by administrators who take pride in walking your dog and booking your vacations.

In the end, administrative professionals generally represent the glue that holds entire companies, and often, entire lives together.  Yes, their jobs can be relatively thankless; however, April 21st represents an amazing opportunity to show the gratitude which is seldom expressed.

Therefore, at Gratitude Goodies, we want to help you say “thank you” for all of the small parts of your life that are always handled with such detail and care.  To make sure you never have to wonder if your gratitude is truly expressed, we have specially tailored an array of hand-crafted baskets to help you convey the message that your appreciation is genuine and real.

As always, thank you for making Gratitude Goodies Atlanta’s #1 signature gift basket company.
