Clara Susanne 'Sue' Floyd of Cumming Passes Away at 69

Mrs. Clara Susanne “Sue” Floyd, 69, of Cumming, and formerly of Summerville, GA, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at Embracing Hospice.

Mrs. Floyd was born Aug. 8, 1944, in Miami, FL, the daughter of the late Weldon and Lillian Hooper Dickson. She was a homemaker. Other than her parents, Mrs. Floyd was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Eugene Floyd; and a son, Duane Roberts.

Survivors include a daughter, Angela Stratford; son, Greg Roberts; step-sons, Jerry Floyd, James Floyd, and Gary Floyd; sister, Hilma Tune Ardito; a number of grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

Graveside and interment services will be held at 2 p. m., Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013, at Oakhill Cemetery with Rev. Jack Gillespie officiating.

Mrs. Floyd will be in state at Mason Funeral Home in Summerville and the family will receive friends from noon to 1:30 p. m. on Saturday, Dec. 21, 2013.
