In Memoriam

Shannon Knight Williams, 36, of Cumming died on May 16, 2012 at Northside Hospital-Forsyth. Born in Atlanta, she was the daughter of Tina Flippin of Cumming and Eddy Knight of Alpharetta. Her grandparents, Robert and Nellie Taylor and Howard Knight predeceased her.

Shannon was a loving wife, daughter and mother. She cherished spending quality time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Shannon is survived by her husband, Kevin Williams of Cumming; children, Bryan Taylor Williams, Hunter Phillip McLellen, Chase Ryan Williams and Emily Lindsey Williams; grandmother, Elsie Knight of Alpharetta; sister, Lindsey Brooke (Nick) Redding of Fayetteville, N.C.; and a loving extended family.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 20 in the chapel of McDonald and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Roswell. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 19 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Shannon Knight Williams Children’s Fund at any branch of the Citizens Bank of Forsyth County.
