In Memoriam: Albert Voorhees Van Aman Jr.

Albert Voorhees Van Aman, Jr. of Cumming, GA died on June 16, 2013 at Embracing Hospice House. Born in Barstow, CA he was the son of the late Albert and Mildred Van Aman, Sr. His beloved wife, Carolyn J. Van Aman, son, Albert V. Van Aman, III and daughter, Carolyn Diane Barnett also predeceased him.

Lt. Col Van Aman retired from the US Air Force as a pilot.

Lt. Col Van Aman is survived by his daughter, Kathy Bingham of Dawsonville, GA; and grandchildren, Justin Bobrick, Matthew Bingham, Whitney Bingham, Brandon Bingham, Cameron Plemons, Ashley Bingham, Jordan Bingham and Zachary Plemons.

Memorial services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 18, at Cumming First United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Cumming First United Methodist Church.
