In Memoriam: Jimmie Lou Phillips, 69

A celebration of Jimmie's life will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6.

Jimmie Lou Phillips, 69, of Dawsonville, GA went to be with the Lord on August 2, 2013. A native of Forsyth County, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Coy Mullinax.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Phillips of Dawsonville; children, Jonathan (Sandra) Phillips of Cumming; Angela (Scott) Watson of Cumming; Michael (JoAnn) Phillips of Snyder, OK; Melissa Phillips and Tom Mantha of Hixson, TN; James (Brandy) Phillips of Dawsonville; brothers, Kenneth (Gail) Mullinax and Billy (Brenda) Mullinax of Cumming; sister, Montez (Cecil) Pruitt of Cumming; 16 much-loved grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Jimmie’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, in the McDonald and Son Chapel, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming. The Rev. Joey Phillips and the Rev. Dean Pugh will officiate. The family will receive friends on Monday, Aug. 5 from 5–9 p.m. and on Tuesday, Aug. 6 from 9–2 p.m. at the funeral home.
