In Memoriam: Michelle “Shelly” Trabue Castell, 47

Michelle “Shelly” Trabue Castell, age 47, of nearby Dawsonville, died July 6, 2013 at Emory University Hospital. She was a loving wife and mother who loved to travel, garden and was very enthusiastic and adventurous. She was a graduate of Agnes Scott College, and a Budget Coordinator with Federal Reserve Bank.

Mrs. Castell is survived by her husband of 22 years, Paul Castell, of Dawsonville; son, Paul Louis Castell Jr. and daughter, Lucy Michelle Castell, both of Dawsonville, parents, George & Mary Trabue, of Kingsport, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Katie and Colt Puryear, of Madison, VA; Julie and Scott Hanes, of Winston Salem, NC; Laura & Robert Wissert, of Kingsport, TN, sister–in-law, Jacqueline and Art Shand, of Big Canoe, GA; mother and father-in-law, Jeanne and Walter Kozik, of Atlanta, GA; and a number of nieces, nephews and a great group of friends.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 09, at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Cumming. Following the mass, a reception and celebration of Shelly’s life will be held at the church. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
