In Memoriam: William Clarence Cooper Sr., 63

Mr. Cooper was a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Roswell.

William Clarence Cooper Sr., 63, of Cumming, died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving wife and family on Friday, Sept. 13, 2013. He was born on Sept. 25, 1949 in Brunswick, GA to the late Johnnie C. Cooper and Marie Williams Cooper.

Mr. Cooper, who was an employed by State Farm Insurance Company as a Technical Analyst, celebrated his 44th anniversary with them on May 26, 2013. 

He was also a member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Roswell where he served as a deacon.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Loupé-Cooper, his companion for 17 years; sons William Jr. (Elveta), Royce (Shelita), Christopher and Dillon; brothers Marion (Anne) and Thomas (Debra); mother-in-law Brenda; brothers-in-law Craig and Jamele; sister-in-law Danielle; granddaughters Kennedi, Matee and Addison; and grandson Christian; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, Mr. Cooper is preceded in death by brothers Johnnie Jr. (Ida Mae), Robby and Robert, all of Brunswick, GA.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the McDonald & Son Funeral Home & Crematory. Celebration of Life services will be held Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Roswell, GA with Reverend Sabin P. Strickland officiating. Interment will follow on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Ceylon Cemetery in Darien, GA.
