In Memoriam: Michael Edwin Tallant, 37

Michael Edwin Tallant, age 37, of Cumming, died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at North East Georgia Medical Center after an extended illness.

Survivors include his father, George and (Sue) Tallant of Dawsonville; mother, JoAnne Wood of Gainesville; brothers, Bobby Tallant of Dawsonville, Tommy Tallant of Dawsonville, Deanne Tallant Isbell of Auburn; uncles and aunts, Betty and Lamar Wheeler of Cumming, Janice Tallant of Cumming, Gene McBrayer of Cumming, John and Elvina Turner of Cumming, Jack and Charlene Turner of Cumming, Ruby and Junior Roper of Cumming, Sue and Jack Heard of Cartecay; stepsister, Debbie Sams of Dawsonville; stepbrother, Scott Pass of Dawsonville and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 3 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Eddie Cain and the Rev. Randy Roper officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
