Fall Drinks are Back!

Pumpkin Spice Lattes returns to Starbucks.

Although it's true that 80 plus degree weather doesn't exactly scream "fall" in Georgia – but it kind of does. Despite the t-shirt and/or shorts you're currently wearing - it's officially time to order your favorite fall drink.

Starbucks' popular Pumpkin Spice Latte made its official seasonal debut on the chain's menu today, Sept. 4., along with pumpkin pastries and the mania that surrounds its return (Hello, Facebook fanpage and YouTube video about a town that celebrates "PSL Days.").

"The Pumpkin Spice Latte is fall’s favorite drink. Signature espresso blended with the unmistakable spices of fall – cinnamon, nutmeg and clove – smooth with steamed milk and topped with delectably sweetened whipped cream.

When it's time to fall back into fall, sweet and spicy pumpkin is sure to please."

Not a big Starbucks fan, but love the idea of a fall-flavored latte? Make your own organic Pumpkin Spice Latte at home, via this recipe on the Huffington Post.

There is also a plethora of other drinks people most often associate with fall, although, I'll be honest and tell you: I drink them year-round. Check out this recipe from Whole Foods Market for a Chai Tea Latte recipe or pick up a tin of pre-mixed spicy chai at , like I did. Here's a tea and cider Wassail recipe from Better Homes & Gardens or this hot white recipe chocolate on Sunset.com.
