Where/When: Coal Mountain Fire Station, Every Saturday

Why Go: Children young and old will take pleasure in touring the fire station, with a special appreciation for all that members of the Forsyth County Fire Department do for our community.

Pricing: Free! 

Where/When: The Avenue Forsyth, Saturday, Feb. 12, 11 a.m.

Why Go: Listen to a sweet story cudded up with your little munchkins, and browse the many Valentine's Day ideas for your loved ones.

Spring Photos with Live Baby Animals

Where/When: Lamb Hill, 6215 Dahlonega Hwy., Cumming. Saturday, Feb. 12, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Why Go: Got Spring Fever? Have your spring photos taken in style with the help of something special to make your little ones smile! Lambs, goats, and chicks will be on hand to get the kiddos into the spirit.

Pricing: Prices vary, special discount this weekend only. Call 770-539-2400 to schedule a session. Walk-ins welcome! 

Where/When: The ICE, 1345 Atlanta Hwy, Cumming, Saturday, Feb. 12, 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Why Go: In this brand new rink, enjoy the comforts of an upscale Parents Lounge, a cozy fireplace and a well-stocked snack bar, while your kids skate their little hearts out.

Pricing: Adult Admission $7.00, Children 5 and under $5.00.  Skate rental $3.00.

Buford Trout Hatchery Fishing and Tours

Where/When: Buford Trout Hatchery, 3204 Trout Place Road, Cumming.  Open 7:30 a.m. - 4p.m. daily, tours at 1 p.m.

Why Go: Experience some of the best views Forsyth County has to offer. Take advantage of the picnic tables for a packed lunch, tour the Hatchery, or embrace your inner angler at the family fish pond!

Pricing: Children 16 years and under fish for free, adults must have a valid fishing license. Bring your own bait. A limited number of loaner fishing poles are available.
