It's the humane thing to do....

I have had dogs most of my life...my parents had a dog when I was younger and lived and passed on. So, I have a love for canines. I have had a few great dogs that I raised, lived with, enjoyed playing and teaching, cared for being ill and passed on. I loved and cared for all my dogs the best I could...ever! I am in my mid life now, and I'm missing a dog to share my life with. I decided I would like to help out the Humane Society of Forsyth County by rescuing a dog from their site to become part of my family. I went online to check out the dogs that were placed for adoption. I filled out their application / adoption papers and gave my background info as required. When asked about my Veterinarian who checked my dog for parvo, heartworms and other...my qualifications were turned down...NO I wasn't able to get the dog in the window (her name was Kinzie). My heart told me that angel was mine if only....I have my own inquiry, why not? But I was denied that dog perhaps any dog from that shelter. The sad part... doing this and trying to help "One less mouth to feed"....
