Man Arrested in Forsyth Faces Burglary Charge

Forsyth County Sheriff's Office deputies caught him after a pursuit, and the stolen items were located inside the vehicle that he was driving.

Two men, including one man arrested in Forsyth County last week after refusing to pull over for a traffic stop, allegedly stole more than $6,000 worth of jewelry from a home in another county.

Between 9:30 a.m. and noon May 30, Connor Christopher Dimick of Marietta and Erik Andreas Schatz of Lawrenceville allegedly forced their way into the home in the 1900 block of Willow Creek Point in Northeast Cobb after breaking a rear window, according to Cobb County criminal warrants.

Once inside, the pair allegedly took "numerous items, over six thousand dollars in jewelry and personal identification documents," according to warrants.
