Cumming Man Killed in Forsyth Accident

The crash occurred Monday morning on Bentley Road near the Fox Creek subdivision.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office says a Cumming man was killed Monday morning after running his car off the road and hitting a tree.

The crash occurred at approximately 9:05 a.m. on Bentley Road near the Fox Creek subdivision. That’s when a 1997 Plymouth Breeze being operated by Alexander Robert Hunt, 27, was traveling east on Bentley and the vehicle’s right tires left the roadway.

According to a email from Deputy Doug Rainwater, Hunt attempted to correct the vehicle at which time he over corrected and the vehicle went into the west bound lane, left the roadway and struck a tree.

Hunt was pronounced dead at the scene.The crash remains under investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
