Cumming Officer Graduates From Police Academy

Tracy See-Holbrook recently graduated from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center's Regional Police Academy.

An officer with the Cumming Police Department has graduated from the Georgia Public Safety Training Center's Regional Police Academy in Athens.

Tracy See-Holbrook graduated on June 14, marking the completion of the 262nd session of citizens who've graduated the course to earn basic certification.  

Holbrook completed the 10 week, 408-hour Basic Law Enforcement Training course, which is required by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council.

The 10-ween course provides instruction on topics such as criminal justice, criminal law, constitutional law, community relations, modern police procedures, firearms, emergency vehicle operations and first aid training.
