Duo Arrested on Drug Charges in Forsyth

Forsyth County sheriff deputies seize drugs and more than $3,200 in cash during search of local home.

Earlier in the week, Forsyth County Sheriff's Office deputies conducted a search warrant that resulted in the arrest of Coleman McCurley for sale of heroin, sale of cocaine, use of a communication device to facilitate a felony, possession of heroin with intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of schedule IV alprazolam and possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Coleman’s girlfriend, Karissa Blanchard, was on scene and found to be in possession of Adderall without a prescription. She was also arrested and charged with possession of Schedule II amphetamine salts.

Along with the drugs listed above, deputies located hash oil capsules, digital scales, drug ledgers and seized more than $3200.00 cash during the search.
