Forsyth County Fugitive Captured in Mexico

Kenneth Grant was on the run from child molestation charges in Forsyth County since 2010.

A man wanted in Forsyth County for allegedly assaulting a teenage girl has been located in Mexico after four years on the run.

CBS Atlanta reports that Kenneth Dustin Grant, 45, was found by U.S. Marshals living under an assumed name in Guadalajara, Mexico.

In 2008, Grant was accused of drugging and assaulting a friend's teenage daughter, whom he had hired to babysit his children. Police say that Grant photographed his assault on the girl, and is also accused of assaulting the girl's sister.

Grant was supposed to appear before a judge in 2010, but he cut off his ankle bracelet, dumped it in Lake Lanier, and went on the lam

Since his capture by U.S. Marshals, Grant has been kept in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department while he awaits extradition to Forsyth County.
