Forsyth Deputy Named NE Georgia Traffic Enforcement Network Officer of the Year

He was recommended for the award based on his 102 DUI arrests and his reception of a Medal of Merit for extinguishing a fire, which saved a residence.

Forsyth County Sheriff's Office Deputy First Class Mike Reutter was named Northeast Georgia Traffic Enforcement Network Officer of the Year by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety. 

Reutter was recommended for the award based on his 102 DUI arrests, being a child safety seat technician and receiving a Medal of Merit for extinguishing a fire, which saved a residence. 

Northern Law Enforcement Liaison for the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety John Gardner presented the award.
