Forsyth Grand Jury Indicts Former Middle School Parapro

The Grand Jury met on Monday and handed down indictments on three counts against former middle school paraprofessional Marvin Shane Pilcher.

A former Forsyth County middle school paraprofessional has been indicted by a Grand Jury on sexual battery charges. 

Marvin Shane Pilcher, 26, has been indicted on two counts of sexual battery and one count of simple battery, Assistant District Attorney Michael Mahoney confirmed to Cumming Patch.

Mahoney said the indictments were handed down on Monday.

The former paraprofessional at Riverwatch Middle School in December was arrested and charged with one count of sexual battery against a minor, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

Mahoney, who is prosecuting the case, declined to comment on the grand jury's decision.
