Forsyth Sheriff Piper Swears in Four New Deputies

The mission of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is "to serve and protect through dedication, professionalism, active cooperation with the community, and respect for human dignity."

This photo snapped week depicts Forsyth County Sheriff Duane K. Piper administering the oath of office to four new deputies to the department's ranks.

Taking the oath from left to right are Lisa Walnut, Richard Funkhouser, James Tomalka and Vincent Moravec.

They will be assigned to the Office's Detention Center.
