Four People Injured in South Forsyth Car Accident

An accident in south Forsyth County Friday afternoon injures four people.

A Friday afternoon accident in south Forsyth County injures four people, according to the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.

The two-vehicle accident involving a Ford F150 and a Grand Jeep Cherokee happened around 4:13 p.m. at 5120 Bethelview Road at the entrance to the Big Creek Greenway.

"Four persons were injured but only three were transported," said Karleen Chalker, spokesperson of the FCSO.

Chalker told Cumming Patch two people were transported to Northside Hospital-Forsyth and another individual was transported to Children’s Hospital of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. The fourth person was not taken to a medical facility.

"There were no life threatening injuries," said Chalker. "I do not have any names, ages, or sex of any of the persons involved."

The roadway where the accident happened was blocked for emergency equipment until 5:01 p.m. while victims were being transported to the hospitals mentioned.

No other information, as to how the accident happened or the condition of the victims, is available at the time of this writing.
