GA 400 Crash Involves 3 Vehicles, Snarls Traffic Near Cumming

It resulted in complaints of injuries, but no one was taken to the hospital.

A crash on GA 400 just north of Cumming involved three vehicles, but resulted in no serious injuries, according to authorities.

Forsyth County Sheriff's Office spokesman Doug Rainwater said the crash in the northbound lanes at Keith Bridge Road or Highway 306, exit 17, was in the clearing stages about 5 p.m. Friday. It had delayed traffic about 4 p.m.

No motorists were taken to the hospital as a result, but the accident resulted in complaints of injuries, according to Forsyth County Fire Department spokesman Jason Shivers and Rainwater.

"I think it just created a traffic snarl, it being a Friday afternoon," Shivers told Patch.

Traffic was backed up as to exit 15, according to Cumming Patch Facebook fan Jeanette Martin, and all northbound lanes were blocked for a time, according to Atlanta Traffic on Twitter.
