Plenty of water will be needed for the BBQ, so why not donate a 12- or 24-pack of bottled water? Drop off your donation anytime Thursday, Sept. 8 from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Also on Thursday, anyone wishing to help set-up for the BBQ may stop by the church from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and set up the tables, chairs, and sound system.

Love to talk on the phone? Volunteers are needed to place “reminder” phone calls to police and fire stations. Contact the church office to receive your list and start dialing Friday, Sept. 9 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Another way to volunteer would be to serve at the 18-Hour BBQ. Sign up for a three-hour shift and serve where needed.

The shifts are:

Friday: 6 p.m. – 9 p.m.; Friday: 9 p.m. - midnight; Saturday: midnight - 3 a.m.; Saturday: 3 a.m. - 6 a.m.; Saturday: 6 a.m. - 9 a.m.; and Saturday: 9 a.m. - noon.

Any one interested in helping should e-mail Adam Bishop or call  770-888-2513.
