Look: 'Person of Interest' in Cumming Home Invasion Robbery

Police have released a composite drawing of the woman believed to be involved in the attempted Tamiami Trail armed robbery and a description of the car in which the robbers may have been traveling.

Forsyth County authorities have released a composite drawing of a woman who knocked on a door and said she was selling children's Bibles before she and masked men rushed in and beat and attempted to rob a 52-year-old Tamiami Trail resident.

The woman believed to be involved in the attempted home-invasion armed robbery is described as a an "attractive" Caucasian female, about 5-feet-2-inches tall with crystal blue eyes, shoulder-length blonde hair and a "young person's build," according to the press release.

The victim, who was home alone and held at gunpoint, was able to call someone during the robbery. That individual alerted Forsyth County Sheriff's Office authorities of the incident about 3:40 p.m. Tuesday. The injured woman was taken to a hospital, treated and released after sustaining facial lacerations and being struck in the stomach.

The robbers, which included three African-American men, fled empty-handed before deputies arrived. The men wore dark hoodies and masks, investigators say.

The woman suspected in the robbery may have been driving a late-model Toyota Camry, either white or pearl in color.

Investigators have received information that leads them to believe the home was targeted for robbery. It's possible the robbers may have known someone who lives in the home.

Anyone with any information on the robbery, the suspects or the car should contact Detective M. Christian of the Criminal Investigation Section at 678-513-5920 during normal business hours or the the dispatch center after hours at 770-781-3087.

Authorities say anyone who may have had contact with a person resembling the woman shown in the composite drawing or who saw the described vehicle in or around Tamiami Trail, which is off Pilgrim Mill Road in west Forsyth, should contact the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office.
