Man Allegedly Exposes Himself Indecently

Missing Pistol

June 6, a report was made to the of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office concerning the theft of a Springfield Armory, model XD-40, 40 caliber pistol. It bears the serial number XD414392 and was stolen from a residential home.

Shoplifter Finally Caught

June 6, an employee of at Lakeland Plaza finally caught a repeated offender for shoplifting. The employee told the deputy that the 53-year-old woman was the subject that she had previous incidents with but was never able to catch her. This time she was caught attempting to steal $860 worth of clothes and shoes and was finally arrested and charged with a felony for shoplifting.

Erratic Driver Arrested

June 5, authorities were alerted to be on the lookout for a green Chevy Tahoe. The alert stated that an erratic female was driving and had pulled into on Pilgrim Mill Road along with two children in the backseat. After leaving the station the vehicle headed toward Georgia 400 where a deputy initiated the stop at the Citgo gas station on Antioch Road.

The deputy approached the driver a 34-year-old woman who admitted to drinking two vodka mixed drinks. After performing the field sobriety evaluations it was apparent that she was less safe to drive. They found an empty water bottle in the cup holder next to the driver’s seat with a strong odor of alcohol.

She was taken to the back of the patrol car so that her children would not see her being handcuffed. A friend was called to pick up the children. She was charged with DUI, Failure to Maintain Lane and two citations for Endangering a Child.   

Indecent Exposure

June 5, authorities were alerted to be on the lookout for a white Toyota car in reference to an indecent exposure call from an employee at McDonald's on Atlanta Highway. Two female employees gave authorities the description of the suspect, an older white man, balding and wearing glasses.

A man matching this description was spotted in the parking lot of the Race Trac on Buford Highway, just a short distance away from McDonald's. Deputies questioned the man who denied ever being at McDonald's and it was reported that the man became very agitated.

They asked him to return with them to McDonald's so this could be cleared up but he refused. They got his personal information and took digital pictures of the man and sent him on his way.

Both deputies went back to the fast food restaurant where they questioned the two women who both separately identified the suspect from the photos taken. The woman who was in the drive-thru stated that the man had exposed himself from the waist up while the other woman stated she saw the man get out of his car completely naked and was fondling himself. Video surveillance is being obtained for confirmation.

Tooth Bucket Stolen

June 4, a deputy was dispatched to Pea Ridge Road in reference to a theft. The owner stated that his yellow tooth bucket valued at $1500 was missing from a field near his home. The bucket could be clearly seen from Pea Ridge and it was not apparent that it had been removed by a motor vehicle.

Fire

The reported for the week of May 30 – June 6 that they responded to 248 calls. These incident calls consisted of 13 false alarms, eight no incident upon arrival, 21 cancelled in route, three unauthorized burning calls, three natural gas leaks, 163 medical emergencies (these include vehicle accident calls), one brush fire, one boat fire, three vehicle fires and two structure fires with no injuries.
