Man Arrested in Cumming Chevron Armed Robbery

Arno C. Lamb III was arrested on Monday night and charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault.

The man suspected in an armed convenience store robbery in Cumming last week has been arrested.

According to Deputy Doug Rainwater of the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Arno C. Lamb III was arrested on Monday night and charged with armed robbery and aggravated assault in reference to the Chevron robbery on May 13.

Authorities say that on the date in question, Lamb entered the Chevron store, located at 3275 Dahlonega Highway, and brandished a handgun to make off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He is still in custody and does not have a bond at this time.
