Authorities say a man is in critical condition following a single-vehicle crash in Forsyth County.
Jovi Samonte Gonyea, 19, of Canton, reportedly failed to negotiate a curve and slammed his Mitsubishi Lancer straight into a tree, according to Deputy Doug Rainwater of the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office.
The accident happened on Bethelview Road at Brookfield Circle around 10:31 Monday morning. Gonyea was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

Rainwater said the cause of the accident is unknown and that an investigation is continuing.
