Motorcycle Crash on GA 400 Kills One

A woman from Cumming who was riding on the back of a motorcycle died following a crash on Georgia 400 Sunday afternoon.

One person was killed in a crash around 12:45 p.m. Sunday on Georgia 400 in Dawson County, according to authorities.

Robin Stone with  said Ronnie Hugh Anglin, 61, of Flowery Branch was driving a Chevrolet Tahoe and crossed the northbound lanes of Georgia 400 and Henry Grady Road when it collided with a Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by Daniel Stein, 53, of Cumming.

The passenger of the motorcycle, Krista Stein, 37, also of Cumming died as a result of the crash at the scene. Mr. Stein was airlifted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta with serious injuries.

Anglin was not injured, but his passenger Shirley Anglin, 60, suffered minor injuries, but was not taken to the hospital, according to Stone.

"Charges are pending at this time," said Stone.

The accident is under investigation.
