Road Rage Incident Involving Cumming Man Causes Wreck

Two drivers, one from Cumming, cited for road rage last week.

Two drivers were cited for road rage after a two-car accident on April 9 that caused one of the vehicles to roll onto its roof and sent its driver to the hospital.

Nearby Alpharetta police responded to a call about an accident with injuries in the southbound lanes of Georgia 400, just south of the Windward Parkway on ramp. A white sedan was rolled onto its roof with extensive damage and a silver sedan had extensive front end damage.

Witnesses and one of the drivers said the two drivers allegedly had been "brake checking" each other while driving fast down the highway. The two had traded brake checking at least once when the accident occurred. The investigator officer reported that both drivers were at fault for the collision.
