Forsyth Deputy Recognized for Investigative Skills

Deputy Sheriff Robin Regan is recognized for his investigative skills in several cases, including a domestic dispute.

Deputy Sheriff Robin Regan has been selected as the  Deputy of the Month for April 2012.

He is being recognized due to his 10 misdemeanor arrests and two felony arrests, including a domestic violence issue, according Capt. Mark Flowers, North Precinct commander.

In April, while responding to a domestic dispute, Regan is credited with helping the victim who fled into the woods. He found her safely after she had started sending suicidal text messages.

He is also responsible for arresting two drivers for DUI and responding to a party where underage drinking was allegedly occurring. When Regan arrived at the party he found four people under the age of 21 consuming alcohol and found two people over 21 that had apparently furnished the alcohol to the minors.

The two adults were charged with disorderly house and furnishing alcohol to persons under the age of 21.

DS Regan has been employed by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office since February 2008 and is currently assigned to “B” Watch, North Precinct, Uniform Patrol Division.
