Truck Carrying Frozen Chicken Overturns on Hwy 369

The accident happened on Highway 369, west of Dr. Bramblett Road and is shut down to traffic while cleanup continues.

A tractor-trailer, driven by an employee of Hunt and Sons in Alabama, overturned just before 9 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 369, west of Dr. Bramblett Road blocking both lanes (see video).

Forsyth County Sheriff’s deputies shutdown that stretch of the road and rerouted traffic while crew’s uprighted the truck and cleaned up the debris off the roadway. It was finally reopened around 3:45 p.m. reported Capt. Jason Shivers with the county fire department.

The driver of the truck, whose name has not been released, was taken to Northside Hospital-Forsyth to be checked out. There were no reported injuries in this single vehicle accident according to Capt. Tim House with the Sheriff’s Office. The truck was carrying frozen chicken.
