Two Injured in School Bus Accident Friday Morning

Two young people suffered minor injuries following a three-vehicle accident involving a school bus Friday morning in north Forsyth County.

Two young girls received minor injuries from an accident involving two SUVs and a loaded school bus, officials said.

The school bus was carrying students from Little Mill Middle School. As of this writing all students remained on the bus, except for the student, a girl, who sustained minor injuries. She was released to her parents, according to Chief Jason Shivers of the Forsyth County Fire Department.

Shivers said another minor girl, who was riding in one of the SUVs, was also injured and released to her parents.

The accident happened this morning at the intersection of Pilgrim Mill Road and Pilgrim Point Road in north Forsyth County.

There were no other injuries and details have not been released yet as to how the accident occurred.
