Two More Arrested in Cumming Home Invasion

A third suspect was arrested last week and remains in custody at the Forsyth County Detention Center.

Two more suspects wanted in a Cumming home invasion last week have been arrested, authorities said.

Yusef Davis, 26, was arrested by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office on warrants issued by Cumming Police who also arrested Robert Nash, 21.

Both men, who are from Cumming, were picked up earlier today [Monday]. A third suspect, Shaeem McLaren, 20, also of Cumming, was arrested last week.

All three have been charged with armed robbery, theft by taking, and burglary in the first degree, according to Sgt. Bryan Zimbardi with Cumming P.D. They are being held at the Forsyth County Detention Center.

Davis, Nash and McLaren are suspected of a home invasion at a residence in Adair Park located off Sawnee Drive on Tuesday, Oct. 16, just before 4 p.m. One of the suspects was armed with a semi-automatic pistol.

Zimbardi told Cumming Patch that a 17-year-old boy, who lives at the home, was struck by the pistol and held at gunpoint, but was later treated at the scene and appeared to be okay. His parents were not home during the time of the incident.

The suspects allegedly ransacked the home and took an undisclosed amount of cash, jewelry and electronic equipment that belonged to the teen and his parents.

Zimbardi said the items have yet to be recovered and would not say whether or not the teen knew the suspects.

"At this point and time I cannot release any of that information," he said.

Breaking and entering (without all the trimmings) leads to incarceration for culprits in Cumming, but millions who break and enter (without authorization, i.e., illegally) to squat, nationally, are not detected, detained and deported, but instead are led to believe that "mi casa es su casa", literally construed, is official national immigration policy.

And Nick Nola, you are a joke. Your statement is about as ridiculous as the 4 idiots that were involved in this mess

Not sure how the son let them in....semi automatic weapon and hit in the head. Interesting way of changing details...not good either way you look at it, but a felony is serious. If you say they were only after pot, then they helped themselves to much more....where did you get the idea that he stole the pot to begin with? You should share to make it fair, but other than that is conjecture.
