Two Women Involved in Forsyth Wreck Identified

The two women were involved in an accident near Lake Lanier on Tuesday.

The two women who were hospitalized after the vehicles they were driving collided at a Forsyth County intersection on Tuesday have been identified, Forsyth County News reports.

32-year-old Melissa Renee Burton, drivingΒ 1998 Jeep Wrangler, and 68-year-old Martha Ann Harris, driving a 2000 Cadillac DeVille, were involved in an accident at the intersection of Browns Bridge Road and Waldrip Circle near Lake Lanier in Gainesville.

Forsyth County fire authorities told Forsyth County News that one of the women was to Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, while the other woman had to be cut from her vehicle and life-flighted to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. It was not certain which woman was sent where.

The wreck is still under investigation.
