An Atlanta woman will have to answer to city of Cumming authorities after she allegedly shoplifted using a coupon in a self-checkout line.

In a police report provided by the Cumming Police Department, the alleged crime occurred on Sunday, Jan. 12, at the Walmart Supercenter located at 1500 Marketplace Boulevard, but authorities were alerted several days later on Tuesday, Jan. 15, of the incident.

A loss prevention officer said in the report that on Jan. 12, Tiara Latrese Butts, 22, bought five Braun Clean and Renew cartridges using the same coupon five times. The value of the coupon was for $10 off one cartridge, with each cartridge costing $11.82. Butts' final estimated cost went from $59.10 to $13.24 using the coupons multiple times. Her checkout was captured on surveillance video, which Walmart provided to police.

The report also states that police issued a BOLO (be on the lookout) for Butts and told the store's loss prevention officer to pursue charges against Butts in Magistrate Court.

Butts previously had been criminally trespassed from all Walmart stores, according to the report.
