Construction To Start on First New Downtown Cumming Parking Deck

It will be built at the intersection of Castleberry Road and Maple Street.

Construction on the first of two new parking facilities to be built in downtown Cumming is scheduled to begin next week, according to a Forsyth County Government press release.

Construction of the second parking facility, which will be located near the County Administration Building, is expected to begin in the spring.

The parking facilities are part of the $100 million project to build a new courthouse and jail, to be funded by the voter-approved Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax VII program.
