Tea Party Tips its Cup to Boff

Forsyth County Commission Chair Jim Boff receives Tea Party endorsement.

The Forsyth County Tea Party (FCTP) has endorsed Jim Boff, Commission Chairman, who is running for re-election in District 5.

The 400-member party made it official last week.

"He has done an excellent job representing the interests of the citizens of Forsyth County, especially in the water negotiations," said newly elected Tea Party Chairman Hal Schneider in a press release. "His votes are always in the interest of the county and not the special interest groups that control some of the other commissioners. He is a fiscal conservative and definitely for limited government."
