The monthly Cumming City Council meeting will be held tonight at 6 in the City Hall council chambers.

III. Consider for adoption the minutes of regular City Council meeting of September 18, 2012 and Executive Session Meeting of the same date.

IV. Acknowledgements, recognitions, proclamations, presentations to Council.

A. Poppy Day Proclamation – American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.

B. National American Indian Month Proclamation – Daughters of the American Revolution.

C. Letter from Georgia Department of Community Affairs – Qualified Local Government designation.

D.  Winter Construction.

A.  Energy Excise Tax.

B.  Service Delivery Strategy – Extension request from Forsyth County.

VII. Announcements.

  • 2012 Fair Overview – Dave Horton
  • Thanksgiving Holidays - Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.
  • Christmas Parade in Cumming - Saturday, Dec. 1 at 3:30 p.m. – Marketplace Boulevard.
  • 2012 Christmas Ornament will be available Dec. 3 and can be purchased at the Playhouse ticket office. This year’s ornament carries on its face, the historic, circa 1925, Sinclair Station as sketched by local artist, Rick Rennick.
