Forsyth County Employees Recognized for Years of Service

Two county employees were recently recognized for their 39 combined years of service.

Two retiring employees were recently recognized for their years of service with Forsyth County government.  

Teressa Cox and Oliver Jennings were each presented with a plaque and acknowledged by the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners at their July 2 meeting.

Cox serves as a planner II in the Planning and Community Development Department, and is retiring following 27 years of dedicated service.

Jennings serves as a maintenance worker with Parks and Recreation, and is retiring following 12 years of dedicated service.

“On behalf of the Board of Commissioners, I want to extend our sincerest thanks and appreciation to both of you for the outstanding service you have provided to Forsyth County government,” said Commission Chairman R.J. (Pete) Amos.
