Forsyth County Tea Party Endorses Voshall

Steve Voshall, candidate for State Senate (District 27), receives endorsement from the Forsyth County Tea Party.

The Forsyth County Tea Party (FCTP) has endorsed its former chairman, Steve Voshall, who is running for State Senate in District 27.

During the party's monthly meeting on June 18, the FCTP unanimously voted to back the Republican candidate, according to a press release.

“Steve is the best candidate for the job," said newly elected Tea Party Chairman Hal Schneider in the release. "He is a fiscal conservative that has demonstrated his keen ability to manage finances – a quality the office of State Senate is in dire need of. Steve is a candidate with integrity and strong conservative values that will stand up for the people he represents.”

Voshall founded the FCTP in 2009 to advocate for conservative values and served as chairman of the party until his recent decision to run office.

Voshall, a conservative businessman with more than 20 years experience in the insurance industry, owns , based in Cumming. Atlanta Magazine has twice recognized Voshall as a 'Five Star Wealth Manager' for his outstanding customer service, integrity and expertise.

Voshall, and his wife, Stacey, of 21 years, have two daughters.

This appears to be a press release, not a real news article. I guess Hal "Back Room" Schneider is still trying to spin his choices into office. What is it with this Schneider guy that likes to put out these press releases about his endorsements?
Schneider operates just like they do in red China or Cuba. The headline should read: Fidel Schneider announces his newest endorsements! Does this "endorsement" harm or help Voshall? Schneider is the chairman of the Tea Party that engineered the crooked, back room vote to endorse Jim Boff, the RINO district 5 commissioner. Boff is the least likely person in all politics, anywhere, to hold our principals dear. Schneider's choice of candidate, Boff, has the following accomplishments to be so proud of - 1. Boff to use taxpayer money to buy a golf course for his friends that live on the golf course. 2. Boff has supported more changes to laws that restrict property rights 3. Boff supported a county-wide law that set how high your grass could grow and you had to keep weeds out of your flower beds. Boff has not done anything of value while in office to help free enterprise, protect property rights or support personal responsibility. The only thing Boff has done is be Sncheider's mouthpiece on the water talks which is why Schneider endorsed him we suppose. Sorry Steve, you might be a good guy but an "endorsement" by Schneider's tea bag party means nothing and means I'll not be voting for you.

As usual, J. Redd has no facts on which to make his assertion. I had absolutely nothing to do with this article. I do however, strongly support Steve Voshall for Senate so that we can replace one of Mayor's boys down at the Gold Dome who is being sued by the FDIC for $70M and who had to have a court ORDER him to repay a $250K loan which he felt he could just skip out on.
If that is the kind of leadership you admire, Mr. Redd, that speaks volumes about you!

So, J.Redd ............you won't vote for Steve because the Tea Party endorses him? Again, I've asked you before if you know what the term "teabaggers mean"? The name calling is uncalled for, very immature and sickening.
Don't be silly, there is NO back room deals going on! I'm sorry you disagree with the Tea Party, but don't hold it against Steve Voshall for having one organization be behind him. He started the Tea Party, why wouldn't they endorse him?

It is commonplace when a ethical and honest person like Steve Voshall wishes to oust an incumbent connected to State & Local Good Old Boy networks and tainted with shady self-serving deals, a low level GoB will come out from under his rock with falsehoods and trash-talk. With two(2) FDIC Lawsuits against Jack Murphy and his questionable financial dealings, what else can this trailer-trash talking "person" say?

I am stunned by the good ol boy network and the dirty, underhanded way politics gets done in this county/state! It is all about who you know, what family/money you married into, and what big business you pander to. And that's the "Republicans"!! Don't even have to look to the left for this behavior here.
Steve Voshall is a man with true leadership abilities, a small business owner who knows the rightful relationship between government and business is for government to get OUT of business' way!! If you want to look around for sinister intent, and you find it in the tea party in this county and NOT in the Jack Murphy/ RINO republicans in this county, well, I just gotta think you're either delusional or ignorant!! Or, maybe you're one of them....

John Jay, first Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court says of those whom you would choose to represent you, ”Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.” Steve is a good father and husband as I have observed and been privileged to have been invited into his world these last 3-4 years. The girls adore him and he and Stacy are great parents and role models. They attend church regularly and the girls reflect that special attribute that is a trait of God fearing parents, they are respectful and if I may be so bold “they do themselves and their parents proud” with their actions and interactions with their peers as well as adults. With this achievement of measure I strongly endorse and recommend that all my friends, family and acquaintances vote Tuesday for this honorable and true Christian Patriot.
