Forsyth Holding Hearing on Pawn Shop Amendment Next Month

The purpose of the hearing shall be for public comment concerning proposed amendment to ordinance to modify regulations governing Pawnbrokers and Pawn Shop Establishments related to weapons; to repeal conflicting ordinances; and for other purposes.

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in order to consider an amendment to the Forsyth County Pawnbrokers and Pawn Shop Establishment Ordinance No. 96, at their meeting Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 5 p.m.  

The purpose of the public hearing shall be for public review and comment concerning a proposed amendment to Forsyth County Ordinance Number 96, the Forsyth County Pawnbrokers and Pawn Shop Establishment Ordinance, to modify the regulations governing Pawnbrokers and Pawn Shop Establishments related to weapons; to repeal conflicting ordinances; and for other purposes.  

The public hearing will be held in the Forsyth County Administration Building (Suite 220), located at 110 E. Main Street in Cumming. All Forsyth County residents and any other affected and/or interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend.
