Forsyth Libraries Expand Hours of Operation

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners allows for additional funding to permit county libraries to stay open later on weeknights.

The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners has allowed for additional funding totaling $67,000 to permit county libraries to be open a later on certain weeknights.

The Cumming branch will now be open until 8:30 p.m. on weeknights, except for Wednesday, when it will close at 5:30 p.m.

The Post Road and Shannon Forks branches will be open until 8:30 p.m. Monday-Wednesday, and close at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

And the Hampton Park branch will close at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday, and at 5:30 p.m. on the other three weeknights. The Hampton Park location will also now open at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays.
