Forsyth Senior Expo: Learn About Planning for Future

Free event provides health screenings and a venue for information regarding a variety of topics including home care, senior living, legal services and more.

Forsyth County Senior Services is hosting the twelfth annual Forsyth Senior Expo on Saturday, March 15 at the Forsyth Conference Center at Lanier Technical College, located at 3410 Ronald Reagan Boulevard in Cumming.

The event will last from from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Forsyth Senior Expo is an opportunity for senior citizens as well as their families and friends to learn about planning for the future. The free event provides a venue for information regarding a variety of topics including home care, senior living, legal services and more.

Health screenings, door prizes and refreshments will be available. Volunteers from the Forsyth County United Way will be on hand serving sandwiches, fruit, and goodies.

"The Senior Expo is always such a well-attended event that this year we decided to extend it from a three hour event to four hours," Senior Services Special Events Team Leader Julie Gruen said in a news release. "We look forward to our community’s seniors and their families, friends and caregivers attending and taking advantage of all of the information that will be available."
