GDOT Wants Online Feedback on S.R. 20 Improvements
The state agency has launched an online survey where residents can share ideas on how to improve Highway 20 between Canton and Cumming.
The Georgia Department of Transportation wants commuters to take to the Internet to give feedback on what should be done to improve S.R. 20 between Canton and Cumming.
The state agency has launched a survey motorists can take between now and July 15. The survey can be taken at http://sr20.metroquest.com/.
"State Route 20 has exceeded its capacity and multiple improvements are needed to improve safety and mobility in Cherokee and Forsyth counties," the agency said in a news release.
The agency is exploring options on much needed improvements on the highway between Interstate 575 in Canton and S.R. 400 in Cumming.
GDOT in May held two public input meetings — one in Cumming and another in Ball Ground — in which GDOT staff members discussed with residents what could be placed on the table as a way to improve the highway.
