Georgia Labor Commissioner Advises Local Job Seekers

Mark Butler says North Atlanta is well situated for improvement and growth in the next few years.

Georgia Labor Commissioner Mark Butler was in nearby Alpharetta Thursday afternoon to meet with some residents in the job market, offering them advice and resources.

Butler said the state's unemployment dropped slightly in the past month. Though that was a small drop, he said improvements in some sectors have been seen, particularly the seasonal retail positions.

The North Atlanta area is seeing improvements as well, he said during his stop at for a C3G event.
